Athens, 1983. The world press reports that 4-year-old Bashir is killed in the assassination of his father, a top PLO lieutenant. But what if death is not the end of his journey? By now he would be 29 years old. He would have to dig through his past to find out what kind of life he would have lived, only to witness the dream of a Palestinian state he and his father died for is turning to dust.
A radical approach stretching the limits of standard documentary making, THIS IS MY PICTURE WHEN I WAS DEAD will unfold a very personal story, the reality of which is stranger than fiction.
